WE DESIGNED THE LABELING FOR THE NEW ARTISAN VERMOUTH OF THE RESTAURANT DON FADRIQUE, IN SALAMANCA.
The name of this artisan vermouth is Danae, in homage to this princess of Greek mythology. She was the mother of Perseus after Zeus got her pregnant with the so-called golden rain. As for the vermouth, it is a transgressive distillate because of its elaboration, which is guided by the cycles of the moon.

Being the origin of the vermouth Alba de Tormes, in Salamanca, a place of great devotion to Saint Teresa of Jesus, and taking into account the transgressive nature of the vermouth, we decided to illustrate a parallelism between the Saint Teresa of ecstasy sculpted by Bernini and the mythological figure of Danae, both having the same face on the designed label. To represent the golden rain we transferred the pictorial style to August Klimt, using pattern references of his works made with gold leaf. The printing has gold stamping to highlight this metallic effect..
