Santos Ochoa bookstores contacted us to give a new image to their paper bags. We decided to pay tribute to literature by representing an image that was a synthesis of Don Quixote. Playing with the figure and the background and the color palette that these bookstores already used, we designed a geometric Quixote whose face is formed by elements that appear in the book. In addition, we added the first fragment with which the book begins, the famous “En un lugar de la Mancha de cuyo nombre de cuyo nombre no quiero acordarme…” with Script typography to add warmth and a more manual point to the geometric face of the character.
